Welcome! I’m Lenny, owner and portrait photographer at Lenny and Caliope photography NYC. As a graduate of the fashion institute of Technology located in the heart of Manhattan, I’ve had the pleasure to learn all there is about capturing moments. whether on campus or elsewhere in the city, art, movement, life, flair, originality, and big energy were everywhere. I captured it all.

But it wasn’t the things or people in NYC that moved me towards building my brand. it would be a picture of my best friend that would catapult me into portraiture. you can imagine how many times you’ve seen your best friend’s face. about 1,000,000 times, right? well, it was only through my lens that I saw her differently. her features came to life in a way I hadn’t seen before. I was amazed — so was she! I thought, “I bet I can make others feel amazement when they see themselves through my lens too,” and Lenny and Caliope began to take shape. 5 years later, we are here and making building amazement with countless individuals and corporate clients alike. To add a cherry, this is a 100% word-of-mouth brand. no ig. no tik-tok. nada. (I seriously love that.)
